  • Say Whaaaaaaaaaat!?

Oh me oh my, what an eventful couple of weeks.  School has had its ups and downs, but I think I may need to drop a class.  I've been the worst vegan ever for the past week and two days, but don't tell Tyler and Logan who have apparently been rocking it.  It's no fair, there's no food when I come home that doesn't have any dairy or meat or eggs.  Things aren't all bad with veganism though, I've discovered a new-found love for "ants on a log" and apparently I really like hummus, which I never knew.  And it turns out soy milk is pretty good on cereal!  Those are things I can stick with when I'm done.

I just started with a personal trainer today and it was awesome.  Unfortunately, I have redefined the word "awesome" and it now means "really tiring and embarrassing when you look at all of the much more in-shape people".  My new definition is pretty specific, but accurate to describe what it was like.  I lied to the trainer about having eaten, turned out I hadn't eaten anything but I told him I had cereal and a banana for breakfast and some chips to snack on for lunch.  After we finished my muscles were so tight that I could barely lift up my book bag to bring into the apartment.

So I done been hanging out this girl, but I'll disguise her name so she can remain anonymous.  So the other day I was hanging out with Prooke Bridemore and it was really cool.  Pride Brookemore is so much fun, we get along really well.  ChookyBrarms is cool, but it stinks because she lives in Fremont so it's hard to see her very often.  Fortunately, GroverInPlainSight is planning to come to Kent on Friday, so that will be awesome. I can't wait!  She's going to dress as a MegaBlock for Halloween.

  • Conveniently Abandoned

I'm so glad that nobody uses Xanga anymore, that makes this a perfect place to say what I'm thinking.  I can't use Facebook because for reasons I will never fully understand, my mom and aunts and uncles all decided to start Facebook accounts and my mom actually checks mine regularly.  I never thought she would be one of those people, but I think she's really getting into it.  More power to her, she gets to connect with old friends, but somehow I can't help but feel it's much less cool now.

Wow, I can't remember the last time I wrote this much. Twitter allows a measly 140 characters and Facebook isn't really set up for nice, long, therapeutic entry because your status updates have to be under 420 characters.  Even if I don't write about anything I feel better, it's relaxing to let out everything I'm thinking about.

I was just thinking earlier about the fact that for three years I kissed only one person, and now we're not together anymore.  I'm not sad, I'm enjoying being apart, but I miss being that close with another person.  I hope three years of being out of the game hasn't made me revert to the same desperate person I was in middle school.  I like to hope that I'm a little more smooth, that I'm better about not getting overly infatuated with one person.

There is, however, this one girl.  I just think it's kind of weird that the week before my relationship ended, I happened to run into her and she texted me and we went out that night, and I remembered why we always got along so well.  And I also think it's weird that she was the first girl I ever really kissed and she is the most recent girl I've kissed.  I'm just looking forward to seeing her this weekend.

Guess where I'm updating from! MY COUCH!

Now, "how is that possible?" you might be asking yourselves. Well, I'll give you one hint: my computer is in my lap.

That's right, I got my laptop Friday. I've been totally super-stoked about getting to use it. Especially because I can pick up a wireless connection from a house across the school from me. It's sooooo much faster than my regular internet, I love this. The only problem with it is that I get disconnected a lot, so if I'm talking to you on AIM and I suddenly stop talking, it may be because I got disconnected.

So here's what's new with me: I'M BROKE! Yeah, I guess not having a job will do that to you. People keep asking me if I'm going to try and get a new job, but the answer is no. As much as I would like to go out and get a job, there's no real point in it right now; I would only have two monthes to work. This summer I'm going to be working for Chemtrol with my uncle, so I'll be out on the roads traveling all over Ohio and Michigan spraying crap all over the roads.

In other news, my parents are out of town for the week. They went to California because my brother Nate won a radio contest. He won a week's stay at a fancy spa resort. Apparently they gave out tickets to that resort in those giftbaskets they give celebrities at the Oscars, so there's a fairly good chance that they'll get to meet a celebrity. That would be BANGIN!

One last thing. This may come as a shock to most of you, but Kathleen and I are no longer going to be getting married. I tried to let her down easy, but she didn't take it well. I don't blame her. I had to call off the engagement because there is another woman. I've begun seeing a girl by the name of Katherine Hoover. We're going to Prom together and I can't think of anyone I would rather go with. She's probably in the top ten list of coolest, prettiest girls in the world.

I'll probably update in another month...or maybe less. Now that I have the internet at my fingertips just about anywhere I go...within the confines of the South-Western quarter of my house. That's the only place in my house I can pick up this connection.

Well, tonight I went to a little shindig at the Parish Hall at St. Joe.  In 4th grade my old teacher made a time capsule for his class.  He made files of papers we'd written and a videotape of us reading poems.  I got to see a lot of people from St. Joe whom I have not seen in years and years.  It was great to see them again.  I only wish that more people had been there and that it would have lasted for more than an hour, because I really wanted a chance to catch up with everyone, but most of them go to school together still, so they might not miss it as much.

My teacher when I did all of this was Mr. Sorg.  He is one of my favorite all-time teachers because he always encouraged me to be different from everyone else.  If you are going to BGSU this fall, he teaches there now and he is amazing.  Also, ask him to sing a hymn because I remember that he sings in a deep baritone voice.

That was probably pretty hard to read.  If you'd like to really read that I retyped it and kept all spelling and grammatical errors intact.

I was really into WCW when I was in elementary, but so were all of my friends.  We each picked out wrestlers to pretend to be, and I was the Giant (he's the Big Show in WWE now).Image hosting by Photobucket

I was really disappointed that I didn't write more in my letter to myself, however, the retarded bee thing was of great urgency.  I have always been terrified of bees and that day there was a bee flying around me and my desk.  The second the moment the bee got away from me, I leapt from my desk and ran out of the classroom.  However, I must admit that this letter was definitely me in a nutshell.

By the way, if any of you have read any short stories or anything I have written, or even some of the things I say, you will notice that I write in the exact same way that I did in 4th grade.  Not only in style, but also in handwriting.  That is my exact same handwriting.
